• To effectively play the role of a watchdog institution against family disunity, poverty and suffering, HIV/AIDS, unemployment, and general stability of families through various family empowerment activities.
• To promote constructive debate and dialogue amongst Zambian families and other actors on the situation of families in order to promote good morals and behavior in Zambia and beyond.
• To develop sustainable partnerships, networking and linkages for the purposes of joint action and enhancement of information sharing among various stakeholders.
• To effectively build the capacity of FAN as an organization to respond effectively to challenges being faced by families, vulnerable and minor groups in the community.   
  

Scope Of Work 

Families Are Nations has been carrying out various programs that compliment government and other stakeholders efforts as a practical way of achieving high standard of awareness and moral strengthening among the Zambian population and in particular vulnerable women, men, youths and children through family empowerment and counseling initiatives.
